Details:
ART and PLACE is a new initiative by Arts Queensland to inject $12 million into public art over the next three years. The funding seeks to see the development of significant public art by Queensland local government councils, not-for-profit arts and cultural organisations, arts and cultural festivals, and private developers. An Arts QLD curatorial panel will assess applications and ensure timely delivery of high quality projects.Applications will be assessed on the following criteria, artistic merit, physical space and site, locality and identity, soundness and durability, media and maintenance, public safety and access, sound business case.Expressions of interest close on 31 March 2010.Subscribers see more details.
