Residencies are offered in arts management, literature, performing and visual arts. Up to 40 residencies will be offered in 2011 of which approximately ten will be for visual arts. Funding of up to &lt;STRONG&gt;$12,000&lt;/STRONG&gt; for each residency will be available to go towards travel, living and project expenses.Artists are expected to contribute their own funds as well if necessary.</description>

There are two funding rounds per year. The first funding round closes on February 11 with successful applicants being notified in June. Round two closes on September 7th with successful applicants being notified in December.There are three categories for sponsorship, Arts Partnership Grants (eligible for grants of &lt;STRONG&gt;$15,000&lt;/STRONG&gt; and over), Arts Project Grants (eligible for grants of up to &lt;STRONG&gt;$15,000)&lt;/STRONG&gt; and Creative Community grants (eligible for grants of up to &lt;STRONG&gt;$15,000&lt;/STRONG&gt;) and Fast Response grants of up to &lt;STRONG&gt;$1000&lt;/STRONG&gt;.</description>
